The Supra has just 355 BHP but weighs in at 1,450 kg under BoP, while the chunky Mustang is 363 BHP and 1,485 kg.
- Despite the original Mazda Atenza Sedan XD L Package being powered by a 2.2 litre diesel engine, the Atenza Gr.4 has a much higher redline, even noticeable by its sound, which also true for the Atenza Gr.3. This may hint to a potential engine swap.
- When set to red, the car’s livery resembles the?Gr.3?livery, itself based on the Mazda 6 SkyActiv-D GX race car, which participated in the 2013 Rolex Sports Car Series season.
- A similar livery (and bodywork) was used in the Chinese Touring Car Championship in 2015, entered by Beijing Luisu Racing Team and driven by Ryan Shinron. The car used in CTCC also features a tuned two-liter gasoline engine.
