Upon starting a Racing Team at ZFS Racing (either starting a brand as a racing team, our buying the Racing Department to enable your brand to start a team), you will be provided with the basics for entering a 2-Driver team into a season.
How to enter a team into a season
The first part of a season is to sign up and select a team sponsor, much like drivers your brands prestige rating will control which sponsors are interested in signing with you. Use this contract to determine how much you want to pay your drivers (whilst keeping the team profitable).
You must always consider that you must have enough funds to pay for Driver Contracts before a season starts. So if you don’t have the funds to cover the cost of the contracts, you will not be able to enter your team into the season. Each season will have minimum and maximum contract terms that owners must keep within that you will find on discord. Once you have found a driver(s) for the season, you must input their contract terms into the ‘Driver Contracts’ section of the marketplace and pay for each persons seasonal contracts.
If a team wants to increase the number of drivers in can recruit it will need to increase it’s license levels and take team specific license test. This will also enable the team to purchase it’s own cars that drivers can use.
Team drivers can also combined their inventories and share cars between a season, so if somebody owns a certain Gr.3 in your team and isn’t using it, then you are eligible to use that car.
Teams have their own dedicated departments that you can upgrade to have a number of perks that can improve the team in a variety of ways.
