ZFS Academy

The ZFS Academy is the starting space for all new drivers at ZFS Racing! Where you have some of the lite features of ZFS Racing given to you, alongside a competitive selection of cars for our inventory racing to choose from.

Am I too fast/slow for the ZFS Academy?

No, you’re not. Although the academy has elements of shared practice and support available for those wanting to learn how to get faster, it’s just a starting space for all drivers to find their footing for a season or 2.

Academy Principles

Each league has it’s own academy principle, the academy principle is an established community member whose there to help you get started at ZFS Racing. They will also arrange practices & arrange you into academy teams for the season, aswell as any advice they may have around car selection/race strategy. You will find out who your academy principle is on discord in the exclusive chat channel dedicated to the ZFS academy.

Academy Teams

When you join a season you will placed within an academy team, this will be done by your academy principle. There are 2 types of teams at ZFS Racing, Driver Owned teams and academy teams, when you race within an academy team you will be fully competing in the season against the other Driver Owner teams, however your payouts unlike driver owned teams will be linked to your own performance and not the team as a whole.

You will be provided targets for each race you do, and if you achieve those targets then you will get paid more! Check the race page on the day to see the race predictions.

This also applies for the season, where you will be provided a season target that you need to achieve to boost your season payout.

Graduating from the Academy

Graduating from the academy can be done a number of ways, we invite people to graduate themselves when they feel ready to do so.

You can do this by going to the ZFS Academy tab on your profile and pressing on the option for graduation.

If you don’t voluntary graduate from the ZFS Academy, you will be graduated automatically after 2 league rotations (which is up to 6 seasons). An academy principle or moderator will let you know if you’ve been graduated automatically.

Once you graduate from the academy, you will be issued your Amateur Racing License, which will entitle you to make car purchases, buy other licenses & to start your own racing team. The credits you make in the academy can be used to get you started of your full ZFS Racing career.
