Mon League: Team Throwdown – Season 5

It. Is. Back……. Throwdown Returns for 2025.
This Legendary community-wide favourite is back for its 5th iteration, and with more teams, and drivers than ever before, but retains its standard Gr.3 League format where we divide all registered drivers into larger teams of up to 8 drivers. Which team will stand alone at the top of the league and claim bragging rights for the rest of the year and claim the trophy and title of Throwdown Champions…

League Format:

Teams will be put together based on rating to make the most fair/competitive teams possible.
Each week teams will play each other head to head, with the team with the highest points at the end of the season being crowned Champions.
Each Team will elect/nominate a Captain – The Captain must report to the stewards with Car Selection and Race Incident Enquiries. Any reports submitted by non-captains will be ignored and the team will be penalised.

Cars: Gr3 (Team Selected)

Each Team will select 3 cars –  1 ‘Elite’ Car, plus 2 ‘Non-Elite’ Cars.
Each Car must be used at least twice throughout the season.

Round Format:

10 minute Qualifying –  Approx 40min (lapped) Race.
All Races are Rolling Start.
Each race will be scored using the same points system as our regular leagues.
The top 5 drivers per team each round will score points towards the Teams Championship.
All drivers will score points towards the Drivers Championship.

Payout

There will be no sponsors for this season everyone will be racing on the following terms:

Team Race Win = 80k per driver
Team Race Loss = 40k per driver
Team Season 1st Position = 1M per driver
Team Season 2nd Position = 900k per driver
Team Season 3rd Position = 800k per driver
Team Season 4th Position = 700k per driver
Team Season 5th Position = 600k per driver
Team Season 6th Position = 500k per driver
Team Season 7th Position = 400k per driver
Team Season 8th Position = 350k per driver

If you attend all races you get your full season bonus, otherwise your season bonus will be pro-rota’d down to how many races you attended. (For example of you are due 300k as your team came 4th, but you only did half the races then you only get 150k)

– Round 5 – Mon 24th Mar – Daytona Road Course
– Round 6 – Mon 31st Mar – Kyoto Yamagiwa
– Round 7 – Mon 7th Apr – Circuit de la Sarthe – Le Mans

Registration

REGISTRATION CLOSES MONDAY FEBRUARY 3RD TO ALLOW TIME FOR TEAMS TO BE FORMED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
